Sacred Graph partnered with Curie.Bio, a venture capital firm dedicated to the biotech sector, to develop a custom internal application for managing their innovation pipeline. We built a specialized platform designed to streamline how the firm identifies, tracks, and supports high-potential biotech startups, directly contributing to their mission of accelerating therapeutic research.

Curie.Bio needed a more sophisticated way to manage their growing list of biotech prospects. Their team required a tailored system that could handle the unique data requirements of biotech that HR or CRM tools couldn't provide. Without a centralized, secure platform, tracking emerging therapeutic innovations and startup leads at scale was becoming an operational bottleneck.

Our goal was to build a robust internal tool that simplified the discovery and tracking workflow for the investment team. We aimed to create an intuitive interface for managing prospects, implement enterprise-grade security for sensitive research data, and ensure the platform’s reliability through a rigorous automated testing framework.

We developed RESTful APIs for data management and a clean React frontend using Material UI to keep the focus on data clarity. Secure authentication was built directly into the Next.js framework to protect sensitive proprietary data, and we used Cypress to run end-to-end tests, ensuring every step from lead entry to pipeline movement worked perfectly.

The finished application has significantly changed how Curie.Bio manages its prospect pipeline, providing a level of organization and speed that wasn't possible before. By centralizing their data into one secure, high-performance hub, the firm has seen a significant boost in operational efficiency.
